Therefore, an vivo study was undertaken evaluate efficacy leaves using excision wound model Swiss albino mice. animals were divided into three groups after creating namely control, positive control treated groups. On application methanolic crude extract wallichii, observed epithelialization period rate closure faster group when compared with indicating has accelerated group. concentration protein, deoxyribonucleic acid hydroxyproline also found be augmented than suggesting protein content tissues serve indicator synthesis cellular proliferation. above results supported histological ultra-structural observations scanning electron microscopy smoother surface topography, H E staining thicker epithelial layer animals. Van Gieson′s showed higher level collagen validating biochemical observation where control. Thus, going obtained concluded possess potential.
